The Annual Meeting of Lake Arrowhead Community was held on Saturday, August 3rd with approximately 40 members of the community attending. Following are the highlights from the day:
Article 1: All three returning Trustees were elected for three more years.
Article 2: Sale and/or Transfer of Association Owned Lots PASSED (122 yes, 4 No)
Article 3: Disposal of Discontinued Road PASSED (119 yes, 7 no)
Scholarship Award: Maxwell Sweeney of North Waterboro was awarded the LAC Scholarship of $1,000.00. You can read is essay in the Annual Report, by clicking on the link below.
Annual LAC Tom Sotir Volunteer Service Award: Lewis DeFeo of North Waterboro was presented with this award for all his work with the Garden Club, which you can read about in the Annual Report.
The Garden Club Founder, Judy Juffre was surprised with a plaque honoring the Garden Club. The plaque will be placed in the garden at the Postal Center on Old Portland Road, North Waterboro.
